Martyn trained with two firms of Auctioneers and Surveyors, first at Otley in secondly at Malton, both in Yorkshire. Both firms specialised in agriculture and both had busy cattle markets, which is where Martyn's distictive auctioneering style originates! After studying for his auctioneers exams, Martyn moved to Norfolk.

He now lives in the market town of Aylsham with his wife and four children, and works for a local firm of auctioneers. His hobbies include writing, with several articles published about experiences as an auctioneer, and hopefully a book on the way.		photo
